Make sure those seatbacks and tray tables are in the upright and stowed position because it’s time for a flight on Oregon DeMolay Airlines!Come be part of this epic adventure as together we’re “Soaring to New Heights” during the 84th Annual Oregon DeMolay Conclave.
This year’s convention will commence on Thursday, April 28, 2011 with pre-boarding check-in at the Keizer Renaissance Inn from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, and there will be in-flight entertainment and dining throughout the weekend. After the Public Formal Opening, the Oregon State Council will move into its business session and will confer the Initiatory Degree on new members.
The major highlight of this year’s annual DeMolay celebration will be a tour of the Captain Michael King Smith Aviation Museum in McMinnville. We’ll see vintage WWII fighter planes along with other historic aircraft including Howard Hughes’ famously, enormous HK-1 (aka: The “Spruce Goose”) In addition, we’ll watch an IMAX movie, and learn more about the history of flight. Registration materials for this event are available from the links below. To avoid late fees, registration packets need to be received by the Oregon DeMolay office prior to the deadline of April 1, 2011. Furthermore, no registrations will be accepted that are postmarked after April 15, 2011. Registrations are now closed.
